In 2024, I was invited by Studio Boot to design a postcard display to highlight their graphic design work in design stores across the Netherlands. Renowned for their vibrant creativity, unconventional aesthetics, and multidisciplinary approach, Studio Boot has earned recognition worldwide, with their work showcased at institutions such as the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the MoMA in New York.
The design brief required a flat-packed, easy-to-assemble, and industrially scalable postcard display that seamlessly aligned with Studio Boot's colorful and bold aesthetic vision. The solution needed to be both practical for production and distribution while embodying the playful and unconventional character that defines Studio Boot’s design ethos.
I developed a modular system that combined function and form, utilizing recycled materials to reflect their commitment to thoughtful design. The result is a small but eye-catching display that enhances the presence of Studio Boot’s graphic work on the counters of numerous design stores across the Netherlands.
