In 2023 I was asked by Iris Toonen to help her out with the product design of a wall/hand MIRROR she was asked to design for the design label Social Label. Iris asked me to develop her idea’s for the MIRROR into a modular system with 3D printed fastening features from which a variety of products could be assembled at the Social Label assembly workshop.
MIRROR is created based on the construction of weaving in addition to the importance of color. By using transparency and grids the MIRRORS hope to make the viewer look closely and bring a new perspective on color and reflections.
