About
I’m Herman Hondebrink, a designer and artistic researcher (Rotterdam, 1996). My work is driven by a deep curiosity about how we are interconnected with, and affected by, the exploitative industries that provide raw materials for design. With a background in industrial product design, I blend industrial production techniques with historical, personal, and activist narratives, revealing how the geopolitics of these industries reach into the most intimate parts of our lives. Alongside my artistic practice, I work as industrial designer and continue to innovate as a product developer.
